About Vaughan and Jayne

Runk | We are Jayne and Vaughan.

We set-up Runk Run Kind. Be Kind, to support those who run, but feel their body and skin need a little TLC, although we feel anyone would love our products…

Jayne had been running for just over a year, following the birth of our son Barney, Jayne wanted to get fit, so Vaughan convinced her to try the Couch 2 5K app. (You can read our blog about the app on our website https://www.runk.co/blog/), the motivation was a new pair of trainers 😂 and appears that new trainers, a new (almost weekly) pair of @locketloves leggings and some Virtual Race bling is all she needs to stay motivated.   Jayne tries to run 3 days a week, juggling it around running Runk, working as a primary school teacher and an awesome mum to Poppy (5) and Barney (2). Poppy has caught the runner’s bling addiction and is always looking for her next unicorn 🦄or mermaid 🧜‍♀️5K 🏅…

Jayne’s stats:

5K PB  30.21 | 10K PB 1.04.00 | Half Marathon XXX

Vaughan has been running a bit longer, and is now the chairman of a local running club (Paxcroft Road Runners), where he is a @runtogether_ Run Leader (LIRF), and is halfway through his @englandathletics Coach in Running course (CIRF), although Covid has delayed his final assessments.  Vaughan has ran a number of Half Marathons, and had planned to run the Paris Marathon and the Tenby Long Course Weekend in 2020, but both were cancelled, so is planning a virtual marathon before the end of the year. Vaughan is less motivated by the leggings, but does love #newtrainerday .  Vaughan runs around 4 days a week, between running Runk, working full time as a Supply Chain Manager, and being a “hero daddy” (Poppy’s words not his 💪😉) to Poppy and Barney!
